Pastor Meshach Mauia is a native of the State of California, whose heritage is rooted in Samoa. He acceptedhis call to ministry in the Fall of 2009, where he and his lovely wife of 13 years, the former Mayllyn Soli, followed God’s lead to be equipped and educated at Oakwood University in Huntsville, AL.

While at Oakwood University, the Lord started to bless them with children, a son, Jireh who is currently 13 years old; a daughter, Jamie, who is currently 10 years old; and another son later in their ministry, Meshach Paul II,who will be 4 at the end of December.

In 2014, Pastor Mauia completed the Bachelors of Arts Degree in Ministerial Theology with a minor in Biblical Languages from Oakwood University. He continued his educational journey at the Seventh-day Adventist Theological Seminary on the campus of Andrews University in Berrien Springs, MI where he earned hisMasters of Divinity degree in the Summer of 2017.

Upon completing his graduate education at the Seminary, Pastor Mauia received an invitation from the SouthCentral Conference to serve as the District Pastor for the Laurel and Soso, MS District. During his ministry in thisdistrict, the Lord gave him a vision of “Breaking Barriers and Building Bridges.” As a result, he was the recipient of the 2018 Literature Evangelism and Intern of the Year Awards, while in 2020, he received the HelpingHands, Community Service, and Media Awards for the South Central Conference. During the Pandemic, Pastor Meshach created an online community “ReCharge Worship” with fellow Co-Pastors Kyle Crawford and Pastor Jannel Monroe.

In December of 2021, they received and accepted the invitation by the Southwest Region Conference to Pastor their current assignment as the lead pastor of Philathea and Smyrna SDA Churches in Las cruces,New Mexico and El Paso, Texas
