Manuel "Manny" Vitug, MDiv, CPA
Vice President for Asian-Pacific Ministries
Pastor Manuel “Manny” Vitug serves as Vice President for Asian-Pacific Ministries for the Pacific Union Conference of Seventh-day Adventists. He is passionate about developing leaders, strengthening intergenerational ministry, and equipping the next generation for service.
Prior to joining the Pacific Union, Pastor Manny served as Lead Pastor of the Loma Linda Filipino Seventh-day Adventist Church. He also served for 18 years as Children’s and Family Ministries Director for the Southeastern California Conference and taught Bible for seven years at Andrews Academy and Loma Linda Academy.
Pastor Manny and his wife, Faye, have been married for 39 years and have two adult children, Alexander and Tabitha. He enjoys traveling with his family, spending time with young people, and playing pickleball. His passion is helping people discover their purpose in Christ and empowering every generation to worship, serve, grow, and lead.
Mirriam Carlos Tan
Executive Assistant to the Vice President for Asian-Pacific Ministries
Mirriam serves as Executive Assistant to the Vice President for Asian-Pacific Ministries. Known to many as “Mac,” she studied at the Adventist University of the Philippines and brings more than 15 years of experience in executive support and graphic design. Her previous work includes service at the Adventist International Institute of Advanced Studies and contract graphic design for the Southern Asia-Pacific Division, where she contributed to the Daystar Readers project.
Mirriam has a heart for ministry and has long dreamed of serving as a missionary. Over the years, she has been involved in various areas of church and community ministry, including teaching, creative ministry, and outreach to those in need. She also has a deep love for the arts and enjoys using creativity to serve others.
Mirriam and her husband, Raymond Tan, share a commitment to ministry and serve together at their local church. Together, they seek to use their gifts, time, and opportunities to serve God and others wherever they are called.
